Included with the wand are seven applicator tips and a wand stand, for resting the hot tip off your work surface. NOTE: The wand will be either purple or pink.

Pressing Time: 5-20 seconds depending on size of piece

Usage: Bags, Garments, Shoes etc

Content: Includes 7 precision interchangeable tips: 2mm = ss6 3mm = ss10 4mm = ss16 (fitted to the applicator) 5mm = ss20 7mm = ss34 4mm flat hot spot & 9mm flat for different sized stones or other embellishments Universal voltage: 120-250V will work worldwide

HOW TO How to apply hotfix crystals with an applicator:

1. The applicator tip fits on the end of the hotfix applicator, gently screw the correct size applicator tip into place.

SAFETY: If you are removing a tip ensure it has already had plenty of time to cool down – switch off or unplug the wand first.

2. Turn on the hotfix applicator (on/off switch at the rear). Lay the applicator on the work surface with the tip pointing away from your working area so that you do not burn your hand as it heats.

3. Place your hotfix crystals onto a clean flat, solid surface. Placing them onto a piece of white card can be helpful if you are working on a dark surface. A mat or crystal tray can be useful.

4. Turn all the crystals so that they are facing faceted side up.

5. Once the tip has heated you are ready to start. Gently place the tip over a rhinestone to pick it up, but don’t press hard or the crystal may stick to the surface.

6. Once selected the hotfix crystal will sit within the applicator tip.

7. Watch the crystal for signs the adhesive is ready; it will start to look wet and shiny and may bubble when the glue melts. This is ready to apply.

8.  Lightly press the applicator at 90 degrees to the surface.  Move the applicator up and away.  In case the stone gets stuck in the tip, use a pair of tweezers and push downwards through the slit in the tip to get the stone out.  Small crystals will take less time for the glue to melt than larger ones. For example, an ss12 will only take around 8 seconds where as an ss16, 4mm crystal will take approximately 10 – 12 seconds. Allowing the adhesive to melt before placing the crystal onto the fabric will also help to prevent burning from prolonged heat of the tip coming into contact with the fabric.

9.  If the stone hasn't bonded correctly, place the tip over the stone for a couple of seconds to melt the glue again.

Once you find your flow, you’ll be flying – enjoy!

DO NOT TOUCH THE TIP with your fingers when hot!!
